Dylan Mono Rain Tree is Mono, Choinumni, and Pomo from Fresno, California. He is a graduate of the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, Arizona State University and will be taking the California Bar Exam in July. Last summer, Dylan clerked at the Native American Rights Fund (NARF) in Boulder, Colorado researching legal questions in support of cases that NARF accepts on behalf of Native American tribal clients. Cases included, but not limited to, the Bears Ears National Monument, the Dakota Access Pipeline, and the Mauna Kea sacred mountain protection.

After completing his undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley, Dylan worked for six years in Washington, D.C. at the National Library of Medicine where he provided health information resources to the public. During his time in D.C., Dylan realized his passion to help other Native Americans was best served by providing legal representation to tribal governments. Towards this end, before starting law school he obtained a Master of Public Administration at American University. Dylan is excited to offer legal assistance to tribal governments after law school.
