Kenny’s passion in contributing to his community was apparent even before law school. He graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Asian American Studies and a minor in Film, Television, and Digital Media. While in college, he directed a documentary titled “We Are Able,” about disabled children which premiered at the 2010 Los Angeles Asian American Film Festival. He also volunteered countless hours as a UCLA UniCamp Counselor to impact the lives of underprivileged urban youth from Los Angeles.

While at UC Hastings, he was a mentor and teaching assistant to help new law students through the rigors of their first year. Kenny wants to use his compassion, sense of fairness and desire to serve to make a difference within the criminal justice system. He has interned at various district attorney’s offices  and successfully conducted his first jury trial as a second-year law student. He has accepted a post-bar position at the San Mateo District Attorney’s Office.
