Montserrat has been recognized with numerous awards and honors including Dean's Honors List, prestigious scholarships and received the Outstanding Senior Award for her major in Chicanx studies. Her most rewarding recognition, however, has been her communities uplifting support and belief in her. Ultimately, she would like to practice as an immigration attorney in Los Angeles or Sacramento. She will remain at UC Davis to continue her studies, as she is now pursuing her JD in King Hall at the UC Davis School of Law.
