Born in New York, New York, Sophie is a former D1 soccer player and educator who hopes to use her law degree to pursue her passion for social justice, education equity, and public service. She graduated from Binghamton University with a BA in English Rhetoric with a concentration in Global Culture and minor in Global Studies. After, she joined Teach for America in Phoenix, AZ where she taught sixth-grade in a dual-language program for two years and achieved the highest student-growth in math and reading at Clarendon Elementary School in her second year of teaching.

Sophie also received a Master’s in Elementary Education from Arizona State University after which she received a Fulbright Scholarship, which placed her in Durban, South Africa where she worked with a nonprofit and taught art as an English Teaching Assistant. Sophie is currently pursuing her JD as an Honors Scholar at USC Gould School of Law.
