Raised in an Asian-dominated area, with limited exposure to English and opportunities outside of Little Saigon, Trinh attended school in wealthier neighborhoods where she worked hard to master English. During this time, she discovered the social and financial dichotomy between her immigrant neighbors and her classmates’ families and these are the discoveries that inspired her to pursue a career in law.

Upon completion of high school, she enrolled at UC Irvine, where she graduated Cum laude with a BA in Economics and Minor in Political Science. Trinh would like to utilize her English skills and be a gateway for her to help her community.She understands the hardships that immigrant families face, especially with the current political climate, and plans seek justice for these families upon graduating from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where she is currently pursuing her JD.
